Lucky
Yesterday I spent the day with my boys at the movies. We saw Gnomeo & Juliet. Super cute! Before we went to the movie, however, I couldn't find anything to do. Okay...I could possibly have found something to do around the house....I just chose not to. :-) So instead of putting away laundry, I made this super cute St. Patrick's Day banner. For this project I did use my Cricut. That crafting tool is probably the BEST thing EVER! Thanks, Mom & Dad! For this project, I used the Birthday Bash cartridge to make the individual banner pieces, Storybook for the letters, and Paper Doll Dress Up for the big shamrocks. I jazzed up the big shamrocks a little with some green stickles. Some of the small shamrocks are stickers from the Reminisce paper line. The background paper I used was also Reminisce.
Happy Crafting!

Magnabilities
I LOVE my Magnabilities. My friend first introduced me to Magnabilities a year ago. She gave me a pendant and a couple of inserts for my birthday. I was instantly hooked! For those of you that don't know....Magnabilities are these genius creations where you have a single pendant necklace that you can change out the center piece. You can order them online and even create custom inserts. I made one with my boys' pictures on it and also made one with my school logo. Did I mention that I love them? Anyway...I have collected enough inserts now that I am getting annoyed with having them all in a small jewelery box drawer together. So....I was inspired by magnetic board projects I had seen at Ben Franklin and my friend Jenni's creation, and decided to make a Magnabilities magnetic board insert holder. :-) This was a super easy project....
I used a 12x12 magnetic sheet cut down to 8x8 (to fit the frame I bought).
I chose a piece of paper I wanted to use as a background and placed it on top of the magnet sheet. I didn't glue it down in case I changed my mind later about what I liked for a background.
I placed it all in the frame with the glass piece behind the magnetic sheet.
I then added a cute flower to the bottom corner and added all of my inserts.
I hope you like it!
I also worked on a super cute St. Patrick's Day banner and started an Easter "Peeps" Banner today. I'm hoping to get those posted soon!
